Phase 1: Millennium City Centre to Basai
The first phase of the project, covering a 15.3 km stretch from Millennium City Centre to Basai, has officially commenced. This segment includes 14 elevated stations and a 1.8 km spur connecting to the Dwarka Expressway. The total cost for this phase is approximately ₹1,277 crore.

The project will bes managed by the Haryana Government and the Central Government, with the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Limited acting as a implementing agency.
At present, Gurugram has just two operational metro lines: a 7 km stretch of the Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line and a 12.85 km Rapid Metro corridor.
